Nothing like pizza to bring people together.
This week we held our very first Pizzarova Christmas market in Bristol. Bringing together all our favourites to host a unique, artisan foodie market right on our doorstep.We are lucky to work with so many talented suppliers and makers, so this Christmas, we wanted to share the love and showcase all the wonderful people who make Pizzarova the place it is.
This year, we’re focusing on sustainable and considered gifting. It’s not about novelty stocking fillers, but finding those one of a kind foodie gifts you might not have found online. Our amazing events team were so chuffed with the turn out, so many people came together to shop local and eat great food.
Poppy Victoria May:
We had amazing, local illustrator Poppy Victoria May. A Bristol based artist bringing to life Bristol’s best independent businesses in watercolour. She creates original paintings and prints of her favourite Bristol pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. Poppy’s Pizzarova prints are, of course, some of our favourites, and proudly displayed in all of our sites.
Spiegel and Peach:
Spiegel and peach also came and showcased some of their unique wines. Bristol based importer and wholesaler, they keep the Bristol independents stocked with unique wines that aren’t usually available for trade. This year they were nominated (again) for the Harpers Top 50 Wholesalers, and we can see why! Offering great value and as well as delicious wine, they are one of the rare local wholesalers who actually import many of their own wines directly. A hands on collective who genuinely care about making life easier for local, independent eateries.
Crazy Diamond:
Root and ember and the Mall deli were perfect for foodie gifting, but we also championed Crazy Diamond. An independent record seller, passionate about increasing representation for women in the record-selling space. She shares our values around community, connection and of course great music, making music accessible, and proving enjoying records shouldn’t break the bank!
