How do we support local businesses?

For our April 2025 special, we teamed up with our pals at Little Bagel Co.

Two local businesses swap ingredients for the month, they take on our favourite double chorizo and hot honey while we tr to reinvent the classic bacon, egg and cheese bagel. With our toppings and creativity shared freely, the collaboration helped support the grand opening of Little Bagel co’s second site on Baldwin Street.

No, this isn’t an April Fool’s day prank, we were serious about this one. While the pizza-sized bagels you may have spotted on Little Bagel Co’s Instagram were a tease, the official reveal of their hot honey and chorizo bagel was the real deal. They also created an oyster mushroom and caper bagel, a nod to our classic Pizzarova pizzas.

So what did we create? Our take on bagel pizza was a little more reminiscent of a something Scooby and shaggy would create. Meet our April special ‘The BEC’.

Packed with all the essentials from a NY deli, our April special was a sourdough spin on the New Yorker’s go-to bagel: bacon, egg and cheese. Featuring Fior De Latte Mozzarella alongside American cheese singles!

Complete with Pancetta Testa bacon, free range egg, and sun-blushed ketchup, we definitely put our spin on things.

We’re all about keeping it local and collaborating with like-minded foodies, so why not partner up and create something special? Pizzarova is lucky enough to belong to 4 unique Bristol neighbourhoods, it seems only right to celebrate the businesses right here on our doorsteps.

The real question is, are you team pizza bagel or team bagel pizza?
