Pizza + Landrover = Pizzarova
Pizzarova began life in a converted Land Rover, roving around serving sourdough pizzas to the market towns and villages of Somerset. It soon found a place in the hearts of locals and a community of Pizzarova fans begun to flourish.
This close relationship between pizza and people can been seen throughout the brand, from the supplier networks to pizzaiolo training initiatives and the food offer itself. Furthermore, our affections towards the humble food and the behaviours associated have been a key element in developing the brand assets.
The brand shifts the focus from purely the product, to our connections with the food, creating a fresh and playful perspective within the pizza market. Here, the humble pizza is not just seen as a food but as a friend.
Pizzarova can travel and pitch up in any location, whether temporary or permanent, but it must always hold the same characteristics and values. The pizzas must always be handmade, the materials remixed, the service honest, and the communication engaging and playful.
Handmade Sourdough Pizza
Every pizza begins with our 70-year-old sourdough starter and Shipton Mill flour, made in house everyday.
We are incredibly lucky to have found our home in Bristol and proud to be part of it’s vibrant food scene. We’ve seen it grow and change after over a decade in the game, but it’s always been filled with creative people, fiercely independent to its core.
We believe our “Pizzarova-ness” comes from sourcing local ingredients and working with brilliant suppliers. We couldn’t be the company we are if we didn’t champion the ingredients right here in Somerset. Why not shout about the farmers and growers on our doorstep?
Takeaway Pizzas
After all that, we still honour our humble beginnings by taking the Landrover out for a spin. Helping celebrate weddings and birthdays, our catering crew has been all over the South West. We can even be found at Bristol’s Prospect Building, serving up slices and having a boogie.
Takeaway pizza is ultimate good mood food, and we pride ourselves on maintaining our Pizzarova quality, whether you’re dining in or taking it away. Sat in the sun or cozied up on the sofa, the experience will always be the same.
Pizzarova Innovation
We are the first company in the UK to offer reusable pizza boxes made from recycled plastic. We campaign for a more sustainable hospitalty industry, our changes can hopefully influence others to take similar steps. We wanted to create a unique takeaway experience that prioritised the pizza as well as the environment. Our reusable boxes are perfect for repeat customers, pick one up from any of our sites and earn ultimate bragging rights. Also makes a great frisbee.
