On the look out for Vegan Pizza in Bristol?

Vegan? Vegetarian? Peski… or flexi? We have a range of vegan pizza and vegetarian pizza options that (some say) are even better than the real thing.

Everyone should be able to enjoy Pizzarova, whether you’re vegan, veggie or plant based. It’s always our vegetarian options that push us to become more experimental, trying new combos or hero-ing seasonal ingredients. It’s these wild creations that end up being fan favourites or cult classics.

Do we offer plant based cheese?

It took a lot of trial and error to find the perfect Dairy free mozzarella to use on our pizzas, we wanted to find a plant based alternative that melted just as well and tasted just as good. We finally found ‘I am Nut okay’ mozzarella. From a market stall in Hackney to the UK’s top vegan artisan cheese seller, they produce by hand, in small batches. The vegan mozzarella goes through an extra process of fermentation and aging to get the best taste possible, hence why It’s been our ride and die for years now.

Any vegan pizza recommendations?

Our miso mushroom has become a firm favorite for us, enjoyed by both meat eaters and vegans alike. It’s even had a shout out from local foodie @BigBristolVegan. One of our favorite creators who celebrates all the amazing Bristol independents and vegan friendly hidden gems. We also have our spiced “lamb”, an ode to the kebab shop, this vegan pizza is topped with pickled red onion guindilla chillies and a vegan mint and garlic sauce.

Do you use vegan meat alternatives?

We work closely with Symplicty, a local supplier of some of the best (in our opinion) alternative meats. Symplicity foods help chefs and restaurants to reduce their reliance on meat, proving plant power can pack the same flavour. All their alternatives are made with fermented vegetables with minimal ingredients. We’ve used their vegan “lamb”, fennel “sausage” and “chorizo” on a range of our pizzas.

Are your dips dairy free?

All our dips use vegan mayo as standard, not only does it make our delicious dips accessible to everyone, but we think the consistency is better for crust dunking! All our vegan dips are made daily in house, from our punchy garlic mayo (using whole garlic cloves) to our smokey chipotle mayo.

 

Do you cater for dairy intolerances and dairy allergies?

Switch out our Brew Valley Fior De latte for dairy free mozzarella or vegan parmesan on any pizza… for free. No one should have to skip the cheese pull! Our team will always be happy to chat through our menu with you, offering guidance and recommendations for any allergens or dietary requirements. We cannot guarantee a 100% allergen free environment due to our small oven and prep space, but we’ll always be on hand to discuss this further or answer any questions.
