At Pizzarova, assistant manager doesn’t just mean ‘step-in manager’, it’s a defined role with its own exciting challenges and opportunities.
We look for individuals who are confident enough to bring ideas to the table and want to play an active role in our senior management discussions. This role is a chance to develop your own leadership style, to not only learn from our unique approach to hospitality, but hopefully leave your own mark on how we do things. Responsibilities
- Prioritising the customer, their experience is why we do this.
- Confident in all areas of the pizzeria.
- making and handling dough, master toppings and make great looking (and tasting) pizzas off our menu.
- Be able to cook pizzas to perfection, while being confident enough to troubleshoot issues on the shift.
- Embody our ethos of constant improvement, ensuring your whole team work towards a common goal.
- Work with the General Manager to keep the recruitment process alive, constantly be on the look out for great people to add to our team.
- Keeping up good communication with all areas of the business – be quick to respond and act on emails (only during working hours).
- If the GM is absent, you are our first port of call.
- Use your time on shift to be curious, keep questioning what we do, use that to create suggestions and ideas to bring to your team management meetings.
